About the company
Timeweb Cloud is a Russian cloud platform for businesses, startups and independent developers. One account provides virtual and dedicated servers, managed databases, Kubernetes, S3 storage and automation tools. The platform uses an internally developed KVM-based solution and its own control panel; the official company page explains the service in more detail.
Primary use case: rapidly launching and growing web projects without assembling infrastructure across several accounts. Timeweb Cloud advertises more than 150,000 customers, 24/7 support and 99.98% availability under its SLA.
A clear control panel, ready-made images, a software marketplace, and management from desktop or smartphone.
Compute, DBaaS, Kubernetes, S3, bare metal and network services are available through one account.
Infrastructure can be managed with an API, CLI, Terraform and Cloud-init.
Cloud servers can be launched in Russia and international regions; the exact service portfolio depends on the location.
The network figures in the provider card describe the Timeweb group’s AS9123, not an individual Timeweb Cloud region. Similarly, the group’s published figure of more than 700,000 active websites is not the number of cloud-platform customers: Timeweb Cloud itself reports more than 150,000 companies and individuals.

Grants and bonuses
Cloud grant
Timeweb Cloud offers new companies and sole proprietors between 5,000 and 1,000,000 credits for a period of one to six months. One credit corresponds to one ruble spent on eligible cloud services.
- The amount and duration are determined individually according to the scale of the project and required infrastructure.
- The provider says applications are normally reviewed within one or two business days.
- Credits can be used for cloud servers, databases, Kubernetes, load balancers, S3 and other cloud services.
- Dedicated servers, GPU servers, AI agents and game-hosting projects are excluded.
- The program is intended for companies and sole proprietors that have not previously been Timeweb Cloud or Timeweb LLC customers.
Before applying, check the current restrictions and complete legal terms on the official grant page.
Pricing policy
How pricing works
Core cloud services use hourly metering. Some fixed configurations receive discounts when prepaid for three, six or twelve months. The final amount depends on the region, rental term, public IP addresses, backups, traffic and additional disks.
- On the cloud servers page, with 12-month billing selected, the Cloud MSK 40 configuration with 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 40 GB NVMe is listed at 882 ₽ per month; 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 50 GB NVMe at 1,062 ₽; and 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 80 GB NVMe at 1,782 ₽.
- In the DBaaS pricing table, an entry-level configuration with 1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 20 GB NVMe starts at 790 ₽ per month. Automated backups and a public IP address are billed separately.
- For S3 storage, the standard-plan example with 250 GB is listed at 639 ₽ per month; usage above the included capacity is billed by resource. The page also specifies an outbound-traffic allowance at no extra charge.
These are reference figures at the time of review, not a commercial offer. Before ordering, recalculate the configuration in the selected region and confirm whether VAT, traffic, IP addresses and backups are included.
Reviews and operational profile
Infrastructure and operations
Timeweb Cloud advertises 99.98% availability under its SLA, hosting in Tier III data centers and round-the-clock service monitoring. Cloud servers use modern Intel and AMD processors and NVMe disks, and include private networks, backups and monitoring. These characteristics are described on the official service page.
The interface is designed for rapid self-service deployment and is approachable for users with limited public-cloud experience.
Chat, tickets, messengers and telephone support are available; the provider also offers migration and administration assistance.
There is a growth path from a small virtual machine to DBaaS, Kubernetes, GPU, bare metal and hybrid infrastructure.
Several Russian and international facilities let customers host workloads closer to their audience, although the available services differ by region.
What reviews indicate
Reviews frequently mention the convenient control panel, straightforward server deployment, reasonable pricing and responsive support. Hosters.ru lists more than 300 reviews, while the Timeweb Cloud listing on Yandex Maps has hundreds of ratings.
Critical reviews contain reports of isolated outages, delays in resolving complex requests, and DBaaS or Terraform limitations. Examples of differing opinions are available in the Hostings.info overview.
An SLA is a contractual guarantee, while user reviews are subjective signals rather than a substitute for load testing. For a production project, independently verify IOPS, latency, backup restoration and the support response on a test configuration.

Strengths and conclusion
Bottom line: Timeweb Cloud is especially well suited to developers, startups and small or medium-sized businesses that value a fast start, a clear interface and a broad range of services in one account.
- Strengths: a convenient control panel, hourly billing, a mature set of core cloud services, Russian and international locations, automation and a grant of up to 1 million rubles.
- Before moving production: confirm the service portfolio in the required region, the cost of traffic and additional resources, Terraform coverage and the SLA compensation terms.
- Practical approach: begin with a test environment or grant, run a load test and perform a trial restoration from backup.
