About the company
MWS Cloud Platform is the public cloud from MTS Web Services, officially launched on October 30, 2025. The internally developed platform builds on MTS telecommunications infrastructure and combines compute, networking, storage, containers, managed databases, security and AI services.

A unified technology environment
Compute, VPC, S3, load balancing, Kubernetes, databases, IAM, KMS and auditing are available through one console and resource model.
High-capacity network
Two isolated availability zones are linked by high-speed connections; the advertised VPC throughput is up to 15 Gbit/s.
A rapidly evolving platform
Since launch, Managed PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, ClickHouse and services for AI workloads have been added to the catalog in quick succession.

Grants and bonuses
MWS offers new users a starter grant: 3,000 ₽ for individuals and up to 10,000 ₽ for companies. According to the documentation, the grant is valid for three calendar months and can be used to pay for platform services other than CDN.

Pricing policy
The primary model is pay as you go: resources are charged according to actual consumption. At the time of review, a Compute example with 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and a 10 GB disk costs 2,624 ₽ per month, based on 720 hours and including VAT.
In Object Storage, standard-class storage is listed from 2.44 ₽ per GB per month, while the warm NVMe class starts at 9.15 ₽ per GB per month.
Budget comparisons should separately account for external IP addresses, outbound and cross-zone traffic, disks, storage operations and backups. Recalculate the current total on the Compute page before launching a project.
Reviews and operational profile
MWS Cloud Platform infrastructure comprises one region and two isolated availability zones. The business platform advertises an SLA of 99.95%; Object Storage advertises 99.95% annual availability and data durability of 99.999999999%.

A modern network architecture, two availability zones, an internally developed technology stack, a broad range of security services and a rapidly expanding data platform.
What to test in a pilot
The maturity of each required service, actual disk and network performance, the cross-zone resilience design, total traffic costs and the required support tier.
AS48096 is used in this profile only as a related historical network signal: public data shows approximately 30,464 IPv4 addresses and 11 peering relationships. This ASN pre-dates the new platform and does not describe all MWS Cloud Platform infrastructure.
There is not yet a large enough independent body of user reviews to support a reliable rating of the new platform. Ratings for earlier MWS or 1cloud products should not automatically be treated as reviews of MWS Cloud Platform.

MWS Cloud Platform looks like a strong option for Russian organizations that value local infrastructure, managed data services, security and the telecommunications capabilities of the MTS group. Its unified resource model, two availability zones and rapidly expanding catalog are especially compelling.
The primary limitation is the platform's young age. Before moving a critical workload, run a pilot and verify the maturity of the required services, the resilient design across zones, support and the complete bill including traffic. The potential is high for early adopters and new enterprise projects, but the operating track record is still developing.
