Cloud.ru

Cloud.ru is a Russian provider of cloud services and AI technology. On its official platform overview, the company reports more than 130 services, nine Tier III data centers and 24/7 technical support.

Strengths

• Evolution Compute. Virtual machines with a choice of vCPU share, RAM, NVMe disks, images, public IP addresses and network settings.
• Evolution Object Storage. S3-compatible object storage for standard, single-zone and archival storage scenarios.
• Evolution Managed Kubernetes. Managed clusters with scaling, configurable control-plane and worker nodes, monitoring, logging and security plugins.
• Evolution Managed PostgreSQL. Managed PostgreSQL clusters with independently configurable compute and storage resources.
• Data platforms and message brokers. The catalog includes Managed Kafka, Redis, ClickHouse, OpenSearch, ArenadataDB, Trino, Spark and other services.
• AI and GPU. Foundation Models, ML Inference, Managed RAG, AI Agents and GPU rental complement the platform's infrastructure services.
• Networking, resilience and security. VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancers, Direct Connect, CDN, backup, Disaster Recovery, Anti-DDoS and WAF.

A separate migration program is available to companies and sole proprietors: the provider offers a grant of up to 1 million ₽ and free resources during migration. The promotion page gives an end date of December 31, 2026, although enrollment may close sooner, so applicants should verify the terms before applying.

An Evolution Free Tier is also available for selected services, including Object Storage, Container Apps, DNS and Managed BI.

Cloud.ru bills resources by the minute or hour, with total costs estimated through a calculator. As of July 23, 2026, the public calculator shows an entry-level Evolution Compute example at approximately 412.85 ₽ per month including VAT. The VPS/VDS page explicitly states that the calculation is indicative and does not constitute an offer.

• Managed PostgreSQL: in the current rate table, one Business-class vCPU costs 1.49145 ₽ per hour including VAT, 1 GB RAM costs 0.4026 ₽ per hour, and SSD storage costs 0.016836 ₽ per GB per hour. The complete table is available in the official rates.
• Object Storage: single-zone S3 storage is listed at 1.1346 ₽ per GB per month including VAT, while cold storage is 0.489525 ₽ per GB per month. Operations and outbound traffic are billed separately under the official rate document.
• Compute: public IP addresses, CPU, RAM, disks, backups and images are calculated as separate line items; current rates are available in the Evolution Compute pricing.

Cloud.ru advertises nine Tier III data centers and 24/7 support. For the standard support plan, it targets an email response within 15 minutes, resolution of routine issues within 12 hours and critical issues within four hours. These are the provider's own targets from its support page.

Cloud.ru's primary network is associated with AS208677. A snapshot from bgp.tools shows 261 equivalent /24 blocks, or 66,816 IPv4 addresses, and several independent upstream providers. BGP data changes over time, may not cover every network in the group and does not measure the speed of a particular virtual machine.

Its main advantages are the broad catalog, multiple cloud models, Russian data centers and mature support. The key caveat is that costs are assembled from many components, so prospective customers should create a complete estimate in the calculator and pilot the platform with a real workload before migrating.
